TIMÓTEO TEIXEIRA BRAGA (Téo Braga) hails from the Amazonas region and has been displaying a unique talent with brushes since the age of six. His passion for art was evident within his family and circle of friends. Despite limited resources, but armed with immense talent and determination, he became a self-taught artist at an early age. He eagerly sought to refine his techniques through courses and applied studies, dedicating years to observing the techniques of great masters in the global art scene, such as Miro, Picasso, Goya, Cézanne, Renoir, Wassily Kandinsky, Matisse, and others.

Recognition came early in his career, including an award at the Exhibition of Posters of the State of Amazonas in 1997. His list of exhibitions and accolades has continued to grow, and his international recognition is a reality. His works and illustrations have appeared in books published in various countries. With the lush Amazon as his natural and inspiring backdrop, he utilizes his talent effectively and has achieved exceptional mastery in his art—a true marvel to behold.

Over the course of his artistic journey, he adopted the artistic name Téo Braga. Today, he engages in both public and private exhibitions. His keen sensitivity and dedication have made him a remarkably versatile artist. In addition to his incredible skills in sculpture, high-relief murals, scenery, and 3D painting, he increasingly demonstrates a refined mastery of styles, including Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism, Abstractionism, Surrealism, and the Classical tradition.
